Hometown Health Centers had its Grand Opening on Monday, January 22nd, for its new 12,500-square-foot dental clinic in Schenectady.

The ribbon-cutting ceremony for the new Hometown Health Dental Clinic was attended by Congressman Paul Tonko and

Ellis Medicine shut down the Ellis Dental Health Center in June 2021, leading to HHC taking on nearly 9,000 patients that previously went to Ellis. In late 2021, HHC bought the former Rite Aid at the corner of State Street and Brandywine Avenue to build a new clinic to serve their patients better.
The new clinic combines two smaller offices the HHC had previously into one facility expected to treat about 14,000 patients annually. It holds 30 exam rooms with cutting-edge digital technology and is located at 1108 State Street, with on-site parking.
