HHC provides comprehensive family planning counseling, including patient education on all types of birth
control measures. We can also give free information on safer sex practices and sexually transmitted diseases
(STDs), oral contraception, intrauterine device (IUD) insertion, diaphragm fitting, Depo‐Provera injection and
condom use. Condoms are available on site. If you request a tubal ligation, you will be referred to our on‐site
obstetrics consultant.

This department also maintains tracking logs on sexually transmitted diseases (STDs),
abnormal pap smears and mammograms. If you have an abnormal pap smear, you will be referred for a
colposcopy procedure on site by your GYN consultant. All our family providers offer primary care gynecology
services, and complex cases are referred to our OB/GYN specialist.
